We have opened up Celadon quail hatching egg pre-orders and added more mealworms to the shop after filling our heatwave backorders.
Hatching eggs
The first celadon quail hatching egg orders will begin shipping Monday September 12th. These will be the only breed of poultry eggs we will be offering until March. Our new flock of chickens will begin laying in November. By then it will be too cold to ship from Maine and not ideal for brooding. During this time we will hatch for our own stock and offer chicks locally and hatching eggs by mail as soon as it’s consistently above freezing at night. Thank you everyone who has seen us through our journey and waiting patently for our new stock. It will be worth the wait, promise!
Mealworm restock & price cut
Mealworm prices have been reduced since a beetle population boom last month. Subscribe for biweekly shipments of live wigglers available in both 6 and 12 ounce sizes. Four of each quantity of one-time and subscription mealworm orders have been added to the shop. More will be added next month. Shipping is the same for both sizes. Each first time by mail subscriber gets a free gift in their first package.
