Garden Produce

Our family moved to North Bucksport last summer. We raise small livestock in addition to our 100% organic, open-pollinated 76 x 30-foot heirloom and rare variety garden. Our farm practices a combination of crop rotation, no-till, companion planting, closed composting, and permaculture methods for highly nutritional and naturally grown produce. Beyond the garden, our amazingly fertile and diverse land offers wild blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and mushrooms in-season. Learn more about breaking ground and preparing for our first year garden, read this article.

We are looking to offer additional meat and dairy products in the future as we build a larger barn with a licensed processing and dairy facility. Our livestock currently includes Nubian dairy goats, giant meat-breed rabbits, old-world free-ranged chickens, ducks, and geese. All our animals are currently raised, processed and packaged on site strictly for personal and family use—our way of practicing and preparing for the future.
