6+ Dark Black Copper Marans Hatching Eggs

Description

Our decadently dark Black Copper Marans hatching eggs are a rich mahogany. Our flock has been sourced from all over the US and selected for only the darkest eggs. We raise only 100% purebred Black Copper Marans chickens. In May 2022 we took a road trip up the East Coast from FL back home to ME on our way home from a vacation and picked up hundreds of eggs at farms along the way to start the ultimate flock.

We have found this breed to be very winter hardy and to be great foragers. The roosters are around 8+ pounds so well worth growing out for processing and can grow foot-long iridescent green tail plumage after their second molt. The roosters are docile with humans and very good at protecting and leading their flocks.

*If you want to mix and match eggs (6 & 6 from two breeds) please add the desired combination listed in our shop to ensure you are only charged for shipping once. Not all combinations are always available at all times due to changes in breeding programs or slacker hens.

Buying hatching eggs by mail is always a risk. We do all we can to ensure a safe arrival by using proven packaging methods.

Eggs are NOT insured or refundable. We always send egg-stras.

We ship only on Monday and Tuesday to ensure arrival before the PO is closed on Sundays. Please include your number if you would like them held at the PO. If you are looking for a specific shipping date we may be able to accommodate. Please include instructions in check-out during purchase.
